🚗 Day 1 - 7 stops

  1. Osman Usta Antalya Börekçisi

When it comes to Kemeraltı and delicious food, Osman Usta Antalya Börekçisi is one of the places that comes to mind, located in a small shop. In this small shop, except for water börek and pastries, all other böreks are made to order. The enticing aromas and the crowd of customers in front of Osman Usta Antalya Börekçisi make the store easily noticeable. For those visiting Kemeraltı, we recommend trying these böreks, which are prepared with light, fresh, and high-quality methods.

2. Söğüşçü Cimbom

You can confidently choose the söğüş and kokoreç prepared by Mustafa Usta, who has been at the helm of the stand since 1975. At this culinary stop, you'll find the street flavors you've been seeking in Izmir. The wraps served at this small shop are both nutritious and delicious. Accompanied by ayran (a yogurt-based drink) and pickled peppers, the taste reaches an unparalleled level.

3. Süt Çiçeği

Süt Çiçeği is a small establishment located behind the restaurants in Kızlarağası Square in Hisarönü. If you're full and looking for a delicious dessert, we recommend stopping by Süt Çiçeği. This place specializes exclusively in milk-based desserts. Payments are accepted in cash only, and dessert options start at around 50 TL. With two branches in Hisarönü, this dessert shop is run entirely by women, from the kitchen to the service and cashier. Although the place is especially famous for its kazandibi (a caramelized milk pudding), every option on the menu can be chosen with confidence. If you’re lucky enough to catch the end of a kazandibi tray, you might be allowed to scrape the remaining bits—a true treat for those who love it.

4. Meşhur Hisarönü Şambalicisi

Visitors exploring Kemeraltı often seek quick and tasty street food, and şambali is undoubtedly one of the top choices. While you can find this treat in various spots around Kemeraltı, one of the most famous places is Hisarönü Şambalicisi. Located in the backstreets of Kızlarağası Bazaar, this small shop is one of Kemeraltı's must-visit culinary stops. Before leaving Kemeraltı, we highly recommend trying this dessert. If you'd like to enjoy it with a dollop of rich clotted cream, this is the perfect place for you.

5. Numan Pide

Numan Pide is renowned as one of İzmir's best pizzerias, famous for its crispy crust. Established in 1988, this establishment has become one of the most well-known pizzerias in İzmir with its delicious pide. As a result, there are many imitators. Numan Pide addresses this issue with a sign that reads, "we do not have any other branches." Additionally, despite being a two-story pide house, you might have difficulty finding a seat during busy lunch hours, so it's advisable to keep this in mind before you go.

6. Kızlarağası Inn

Kızlarağası Hanı is an ideal place in Kemeraltı for relaxing and unwinding. Enjoying Turkish coffee brewed over embers and engaging in pleasant conversation are among the favorite activities here. If you prefer to have your coffee outside Kızlarağası Hanı, you can find many alternative places on the adjacent Kahveciler Street.
